A multi-year inspection and repair programme across topsides and structural systems on a mature North Sea production platform, extending safe operating life by 10+ years.

Project overview
Milner Offshore was engaged to develop and deliver a comprehensive integrity management programme for a mature fixed platform approaching its original design life. The scope covered structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical systems across the topsides and jacket structure.
The programme included development of a risk-based inspection strategy, execution of above-water and underwater inspections, anomaly assessment and repair design, and preparation of life extension documentation for submission to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Through systematic inspection planning and proactive anomaly resolution, the platform achieved regulatory approval for continued safe operation, protecting production revenue and deferring decommissioning costs.
