Project overview
Milner was appointed to manage the plug and abandonment programme for a portfolio of gas wells across three normally unattended installations (NUIs) in the Southern North Sea.
The project began with a comprehensive well-by-well examination to establish barrier status, followed by development of optimised P&A programmes that maximised the use of rig-less techniques to reduce cost and vessel time.
Our team managed regulatory submissions, contractor interfaces, and offshore execution oversight through to well abandonment verification. The programme was delivered ahead of schedule, with all wells permanently abandoned in compliance with Oil & Gas UK guidelines and NSTA requirements.
