Installation engineering, vessel interface management, and commissioning oversight for a 12km subsea tie-back to an existing host platform.

Project overview
Milner Offshore provided installation engineering and offshore construction management support for a 12km subsea tie-back connecting a new subsea development to an existing host platform.
The scope included detailed installation engineering, preparation of lifting and rigging plans, vessel interface coordination, and oversight of pipe-lay, umbilical installation, and subsea equipment hook-up activities.
Our team maintained presence offshore throughout the installation campaign, managing interfaces between the installation contractor, equipment vendors, and the operator's project team. The tie-back was commissioned on schedule, achieving first oil within the target window.
